We are delighted to announce Emma Tofield as our new Spa Manager.
Emma began her career at Whittlebury Hall Spa in Northamptonshire, where she stayed for five years before moving on to roles at The Clarins Skin Spa, ESPA and the ESPA beauty counter at Liberty London. Most recently, Emma was back at Whittlebury Hall Spa as assistant manager, holding the position for over two years.
As Spa Manager, Emma will head up the team of 25, bringing her vast experience of managing teams and building upon the exceptional customer service. Utilising her strength in people management and day-to-day organisation, Emma will continue to advance the training and development of the team and aims to offer a wider, more flexible range of treatments at the spa, whilst ensuring the quality of practices remains high. Next year, she hopes to culminate all of the hard work with an industry award win and has already helped the spa to achieve an excellent 5 bubble rating in the Good Spa Guide.
Emma commented on her new role: “I am delighted to have joined the team at Luton Hoo’s spa. All the staff have been so welcoming to me and I am very proud to have them as my team, with their amazing guest service and skills. After visiting the spa during my first interview, I fell in love with the building, history and surroundings and the more I found out about the role the more I knew I wanted to work here and that this was the perfect position for me.”
Matthew Long, General Manager commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Emma to the team here at Luton Hoo. She brings with her a wealth of experience and has already been such a positive addition to the spa team. I am looking forward to working with her to continue to improve our leisure offering and provide the very best customer care.”
The Spa is situated in Luton Hoo’s Country Club property, a short walk from the main Mansion House. Housing the golf Pro Shop, Adam’s Brasserie, The 19th Bar and the spa and leisure facilities, the Country Club is a tranquil addition to the historic estate.
