On Wednesday 6th November, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa welcomed 16 students from The Nobel School in Stevenage.
All students are currently studying a Level 3 CTEC in Business Studies and are required to write a case study about Customer Service & Communications in a local business. We are passionate about sharing our experiences and knowledge with the local community to hopefully inspire future hoteliers, so we were delighted when Luton Hoo was chosen for the case study.
The students arrived at 10am with their Faculty Head, ready for a showround of the Mansion House. Luton Hoo's Training Manager, Marion Amort and Duty Manager, Jane Atkinson guided the group around the Great Hall, Drawing Room, Formal Gardens and Lion's Terrace. The students also got to peek into two of the State Suites, including the Queen Elizabeth.
They then gathered in the Sitting Room for refreshments and enjoyed cookies and pastries whilst meeting the General Manager of Luton Hoo, Matthew Long. The students also had a Q&A session with all three managers, to find out any additional information they needed for their case study.
It was a pleasure to host the students and we wish them the best of luck with the rest of their course.
