Luton Hoo Springboard Ambassador visits Central Bedfordshire College

As passionate hoteliers, one of our goals at Luton Hoo is to spread the word about the exciting, varied and real career opportunities available in the hospitality industry.

Luton Hoo's Deputy Hotel Manager, Frederic Billet, has been a Springboard Ambassador for many years and works within a network of over 1500 Ambassadors to do just that.

On Monday 11th November, Frederic visited the Central Bedfordshire College to meet with 40 catering students. The students were aged between 16 - 18 and are currently studying ‘Professional Cookery’ and ‘Food Production & Cooking’ courses at the college.

Frederic talked about his experiences at Luton Hoo and gave an insight into what it is like to work in hospitality. He was also available for a Q&A session, where the students asked a variety of questions.

Speaking after Frederic's visit, Chef Andrew Cluskey said "We were delighted to have Frederic Billet come to our college this morning to give a presentation to our Catering Students. He gave them an overview of the amazing hotel and also information about working at Luton Hoo. The students were really engaged in this from start to finish and some students have already applied online for some positions at the hotel. We are really grateful to the hotel and for Frederic coming to deliver this presentation".
