We have recently partnered with Bolney Wine Estate to create a luxury gourmet dining event and welcome an exciting addition to our Afternoon Tea offering.
Bolney Wine Estate and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, have combined their exceptional expertise to create two sparkling wines that evokes the fragrant sights and sounds of the Sussex countryside with each and every sip.
From 25th May to 30th September, we will be offering a “Kew English Sparkling Afternoon Tea”. Guests will be able to enjoy our Traditional Afternoon Tea, complimented by either the Kew English Sparkling White or the Kew English Sparkling Rosé.
The Bolney Kew sparkling white is a delightful sparkling wine with floral, zesty citrus fruit, honeysuckle and elderflower notes that finishes with just a hint of sweetness. The sparkling rosé is a seriously sophisticated wine that offers notes of raspberry and wild strawberry, with subtle savoury undertones adding complexity. Both wines are produced following the same traditional method as is used to produce Champagne, providing a luxurious, flavour-filled wine.
We also have limited spaces available to a special Gourmet Wine Dinner in celebration of English Wine Week. This will be hosted by Bolney Wine Estate on Thursday 23rd May.
Set in the stunning Mansion House, guests joining us will enjoy a welcome drink and canapés on arrival, followed by a three-course meal with specially paired wines introduced by a guest host from Bolney Wine Estate.
Bolney Wine Estate is one of the longest established English vineyards and has been making award-winning English wines at its Sussex estate for over 35 years. The sandstone soils are some of the best in the country, providing the ideal setting to grow vines.
