A Taste of the Sunshine State comes to Luton Hoo
Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa is offering diners the chance to sample top Californian wines.
The hotel’s series of gourmet events continues on Saturday, July 31st, with an evening featuring wines from the award-winning Eberle Winery, ranked as one of the best in America’s Sunshine State.
In 1973 Gary Eberle began his career in the wine industry by heading his family’s Estrella River Winery. In 1983 he opened the doors to his own Eberle Winery, located midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles in Paso Robles, and today produces 25,000 cases of wine each year. The winery consistently remains one of the highest award-winning wineries in the United States.
Beginning with a reception, the white and red wines selected for the rest of the evening will be complemented with a four-course menu created by Luton Hoo’s Executive Chef Kevin Clark.
The evening, which includes the cocktail reception, dinner, wines, coffee and petit fours and talk, costs £75 per person. To make a night of it the hotel is offering a special wine dinner overnight package for £150 per person, including the gourmet evening, accommodation and full English breakfast, based on double room occupancy.
